Here at Thompson Cavvy Quarter Horses in Shelley, ID we focus on raising functional ranch horses with some cow sense and ability, size, foot, and good bone.

Our colts are born outside in the hills and rocks.
Our stud, “Whiskey”, is from the Hairpin Cavvy Program in Montana. He is Paddys Irish Whiskey bred with a great disposition. He serves as a great ranch using horse when it’s not breeding season. It’s been an honor to have him be a part of our program.
