Here are some fun ways to spice up your ground work and provide your horse another platform to understand pressure and release. Be careful when you start this, you may have your horse good off of the lead rope, but you also may find that this is a different feel for your horse.
I mention this in the video, but I think it’s worth mentioning again. Do Not sink you whole hand through the nose band of your halter. If you do there’s a good chance you will either hurt your hand or end up in some other less than desirable position. Remember when you first start this, observe don’t just jerk your horse around, allow them to search for the solution and make sure to give them peace when they improve. The goal is use less pressure, get more understanding. May the ground work odds forever be in your favor.
