Lead Changes

In this video I cover footfall of leads at both the canter and gallop leading to flying lead changes. It is so important that we actually know or are at least cognizant of what our horse’s feet are doing. Especially if we are trying to perform lead changes and other maneuvers along the same lines. Remember preparation is key, there is no need to rush this. To view the first steps in lead changes be sure to watch this video here.

Remember, go at your horse’s pace and observe critically. Next thing you know you’ll be changing leads like a pro.
