This week’s Cavvy Savvy Instagram guest is Emily McCartney. Emily McCartney is the 6th generation of the R.A. Brown Ranch in Throckmorton, TX, but a first generation photographer- especially a “wandering western lifestyle photographer”.

Emily began photographing at age 12, started her photography business at age 17, and after graduating from Texas Tech University in May of 2017 she is now a full time free lance photographer. She specializes in western lifestyle and portrait photography, where she is able to combine her love of the American West and the ranching way of life into her creative image making.

Emily has done western lifestyle shoots in several states other than her home state of Texas and is always on the lookout for new places to photograph and new adventures to embark on.
