I purchased, “Branding: Roping and Stock Handling Techniques in the Great Basin” for our household for Christmas. Since I’ve previously shared that we are followers of the Great Basin/Buckaroos style roping here at the ranch, it makes sense that we’d add this to our collection. It was very well done, and really helped me to further visualize how and where I should be in a branding pen when we are utilizing this style of roping.
They show many different roping shots you can take, not only on the dummy, but how they look when executed too.

I do hope you’ll take a look – and purchase it if your checkbook allows. Not only is the film beautifully done, the shots they show these ropers taking are art in and of themselves.
