About Danielle Schlegel

A native Texan, Danielle recently relocated to South Dakota to get married after finishing up a master's in agricultural communications at Kansas State University. While she did not grow up on a ranch, she has taken every opportunity afforded to her to be apart of the cattle industry. She is currently working as an intern with Tri-State Livestock News doing a little bit of everything from developing digital content to covering local events. When she is not working you can usually find her behind a camera, on a horse, working with one of her and her husband's three dogs, or exploring the Black Hills as she settles into life in South Dakota as a married woman.
